The Value of the Arts for Retention in Higher Education

Presenter: Richard E. White, MEd/Psy MFA, Interim Associate Dean, Arts and Humanities, Palm Beach State College

Richard White, MEd/Psy MFA, has been in the Arts for over 40 years. He is currently the Interim Associate Dean for Arts and Humanities at Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth Campus.  He also has a 25 year background in Corporate Leadership and Marketing.  His undergraduate work includes a BFA from RISD in Ceramics, Sculpture and Art History.  His MEd/Psy in Education and Psychology is from Alliance University and his MFA is from University of Miami where he studied with Walter Darby Bannard. 

Interim Associate Dean Richard White will lead this interactive presentation and discussion for Region V.
