Welcome - A Message from the 2024 Chair

Hello! I am Dana Livesay, and I am privileged to be serving you as the Chair of CPEC and holding the honor of being the longest-serving chapter president at Hillsborough Community College. Additionally, I am the Project Coordinator for the college's Instructional Technology Services department and an adjunct instructor. Having joined AFC in 1994 during my employee orientation, I can truly say that AFC membership is among the most rewarding investments you can make in your professional development.

It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to you as a valued member of the Career and Professional Employees Commission. Your presence enriches our vibrant community, uniting career professionals from Florida's 28 exceptional colleges. As a CPEC member, you are now part of a dynamic network dedicated to fostering professional growth, sharing insights, networking, and promoting collaboration.

This year, CPEC is rebuilding, enhancing member engagement and learning opportunities, promoting leadership, and working diligently to increase our membership. Your active participation will significantly contribute to our community's success and growth, and we are genuinely excited to support you on your path to achieving your career goals.
