WELCOME - A MESSAGE FROM THE 2020 CHAIR

Welcome to the Communications and Marketing Commission!

After taking a short break from the Florida College System, I am so glad to be back and serving as the Director of Integrated Marketing for Tallahassee Community College. I am even more excited to serve as Chair for the CMC! We are looking forward to a year filled with professional development and growth for marketing and communications professionals around the state. I urge each and every one of you to take full advantage of all that AFC has to offer and build relationships, ask your colleagues questions, lean on each other for support and inspiration and last but not least, have fun!

We have several exciting events planned for this year including our annual Awards of Excellence ceremony and a fantastic conference planned for April 1 in partnership with the Ocala Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association.

Our mission for this year is to represent the interests of members through networking and the exchange of communications and marketing best practices, as well as providing opportunities for professional development and leadership growth.
